Background & Purpose

ScholarScript.com's purpose is to empower students with the knowledge they need to attain a higher education, and to simplify and organize the process of getting there.

ScholarScript.com began as a simple idea: help students get to college. That idea has evolved into the greater goal of empowering students by providing them with the resources and information they need in order to prepare for education beyond high school.

This website is for all the students who want to go to college but don't know how to get there. It's for all the students who have what it takes but lack the guidance. It's for any student who wants to succeed. This website is for all the firsts – first generation high school graduates, first generation aspiring college students, first generation Americans. ScholarScript.com is for everyone.

The development of ScholarScript.com is part of a public service project proposal that was made possible through the Donald Kennedy Public Service Fellowship from Stanford University . The website is currently in its first year of existence, and is being piloted and case-studied at Desert Hot Springs High School in Desert Hot Springs, California as a tool to assist students on the path to higher education.
